September Fraud Figures and the Full of Life Fair Event

Dear Resident,

We hope you are well.

Attached is the September figures of reported fraud. You will see that £4,000,000 of the total of £4,547,740 is represented by False accounting.

False accounting fraud involves an employee or an organisation altering, destroying or defacing any account; or presenting accounts from an individual or an organisation so they don’t reflect their true value. They may then try to arrange a loan.

In spite of the above a total of well over £500,000 is still bad. On line shopping accounts for a lot of the loss. Please be wary!

There are several upcoming events that might be of interest to residents. The team will be attending one of the events at the Twickenham Stadium on the 24th of October 2025, from 10:00-16:00pm for anyone who is interested to make contact with us.
